SOSUA KIDS...

 

ASSOCIATION FOR THE ASSISTANCE OF EDUCATION OF POOR CHILDREN OF GREATER SOSUA.

The purpose of this association is to assist children of insufficient means to attend school. It is a non-profit association and is run on a strictly volunteer basis.

Children in the Dominican Republic are entitled to attend school at no cost. However they are required to purchase full uniforms; shirts, slacks/skirts, shoes and underwear, as well as school materials, notebooks, pencils, glue etc.

This association has been formed to aid the many caring visitors as well as local residents direct the help that they wish to give to the children.

An account for the association has been established in the Banco Popular to receive contributions.

Anyone that is here in Sosua and would like to contribute directly is welcome to stop by   Checkpoint Pub and Sandwich Bar, or Britannia Bar.

Volunteers in Sosua are residents willing to donate their time to see this program function.

Non- resident volunteers are donating their energies and skills canvassing for funds.
